KeithHaringのアートが好きな方にはたまらない時計
キース・ヘリングは、アンディ・ウォーホルやジャン＝ミシェル・バスキアなどと同様に、1980年代のアメリカ美術を代表するアーティスト。80年代初頭にニューヨークの地下鉄で、黒い紙が貼られた使用されていない広告板を使った通称サブウェイドローイングというグラフィティ・アートを始めました。そのコミカルで誰もが楽しめる落書きは、地下鉄の通勤客の間で評判となり、一躍ヘリングの名を広めることになりました。
1980年から86年の間には、次々と展覧会が開催され、国際的にも高く評価されました。ニューヨークのタイムズスクエアのビルボードのアニメーションから、舞台デザイン、ヘリングのグッズを販売するポップショップをオープンするなど、制作活動は多岐に及びます。また世界中で壁画を制作したり、ワークショップなども開催し、社会的なプロジェクトも数多く手がけました。日本でも展覧会やワークショップの開催や、ポップショップも展開されました。
