ニューヨークにあるgemini工房がteisco（テスコ）ゴールドフォイル・ピックアップをオマージュして製作したストラトPUサイズのピックアップです。直流抵抗値は約6kΩ。セラミックマグネットを使用しており、ビザールっぽいパキッとした音色かつ少しコンプがかかったようなニュアンスがあります。
ストラトに加工なしで取り付けできます。私はフロントに付けていました。多少の汚れはありますが、取り外すまで問題なく作動していました。
teiscoのゴールドフォイルはライ・クーダー等の影響で人気がありますが、ストラト等への取り付けには加工が必要となります。ストラトPU型で交換が容易なこちらを試してみてはいかがでしょうか。
